About US
For over thirty years, the JK Students Welfare Society (JKSWS) has kindled the flame of scientific curiosity across Jammu & Kashmir. Guided by a vision of equity and empowerment, we’ve journeyed beyond city classrooms to village schools, and into the farthest valleys bringing science to life for young dreamers wherever they are.
Initiatives like Curious Minds are more than just programs; they are bridges to possibility, to purpose, to wonder. With hands-on experiments, inspiring mentors, and inclusive platforms, we strive to awaken creativity, spark critical thinking, and nurture the next generation of innovators. Because we believe that every child deserves the chance to imagine boldly, learn deeply, and shape the world ahead.

As a person of Tech. and a product of NCSC I'M deeply passionate about making technology accessible, I’ve spent the past few years demystifying concepts like AI, machine learning, and cybersecurity for curious young minds translating complex ideas into interactive, hands-on experiences that spark imagination. Being entrusted with shaping the foundational structure of this project has been both a challenge and an honor. From designing this web app to digitizing the entire participation process, my goal for Curious Minds has been to make the process smarter, smoother, and more inclusive. As a teacher I’ve found great joy in watching young minds look up at the night sky and wonder. Astronomy is a gateway to curiosity—it teaches us to question, to explore, and to never stop learning. This initiative embodies that same spirit of exploration and wonder. I feel privileged to be associated with a program that not only brings science closer to students but also inspires them to reach for the stars—literally and figuratively.”
